Strong expertise in SQL, DBT, Snowflake, and Data Coves
Hands-on experience with on-premises data integration / ETL tools
Experience with query optimization and performance tuning
Proficiency with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum practices
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in healthcare, pharma, or other regulated environments
Nice to have: Python, Airflow, cloud data platforms
Responsibilities:
Experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to support Clinical Operations and enterprise analytics initiatives. This role focuses on building scalable data models and transformations using DBT (including Data Coves) to enable reliable, high-quality data processing in regulated healthcare and pharmaceutical environments. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience working with both cloud and on-premises data integration tools.
Design, develop, and maintain data models and transformations using DBT Optimize and tune Snowflake queries and data models for performance and scalability Ensure data quality through testing, validation, and best practices Follow development standards including Git-based version control and code reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies Take ownership of deliverables and continuously improve data processes
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Advanced degree or relevant certifications - preferred
