Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Snowflake instances, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data storage and query performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake performance issues and provide timely resolution.
- Implement data governance policies and manage user access and roles within Snowflake.
- Optimize costs by monitoring data usage and providing recommendations for management.
- Stay updated on Snowflake and AWS features, enhancements, and best practices.
- Create and manage documentation related to Snowflake processes, configurations, and user guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration and ETL processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, EC2, and IAM.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant certifications in Snowflake or AWS are a plus.
