# Role Overview
The Senior Site Supervisor will oversee the end-to-end execution of high-end interior projects ensuring precision, quality, and timely delivery. The role involves managing multiple trades and teams on-site, interpreting design intent accurately, and coordinating closely with the design studio, vendors, and clients to maintain VCJ Designs benchmark standards in craftsmanship and finish.
# Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision & CoordinationIndependently manage day-to-day site operations across multiple ongoing projects.
- Supervise all trades civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and finishing works.
- Ensure implementation strictly follows approved GFC (Good For Construction) drawings and design details.
- Plan daily workflow and resource allocation to achieve smooth progress without bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for timely deliveries and installations.
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct rigorous quality checks at all stages structure, finishing, and detailing.
- Verify material quality and installation methods in line with VCJ Designs standards.
- Identify defects, deviations, or design mismatches and initiate corrective actions immediately.
- Ensure precision in finishing details such as joinery, veneer alignment, lighting integration, and polish.
- Progress Tracking & Documentation
- Maintain daily site progress reports, photographs, and status updates.
- Monitor timelines against project schedules and proactively highlight delays or dependencies.
- Prepare weekly progress summaries for management review.
- Supervise snag rectification and ensure proper handover documentation.
- Safety & Site Discipline
- Enforce safety protocols and site housekeeping standards.
- Ensure PPE use, controlled material handling, and site cleanliness at all times.
- Maintain order and discipline among subcontractors and labour teams.
- Coordination & Communication
- Act as the principal liaison between the design office and the site
Requirements
Must-have Skills:
- Knowledge about site construction-related work
- Must have exposure to finishing work
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Strong supervision experience in Finishing works in Building projects, instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
- Site control power with the subcontractor for more productivity.
- Shuttering knowledge of Aluform preferred
