Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Role: Site Reliability Engineer - Trading Infrastructure

Location: Singapore (onsite)

I'm working a search for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the trading infrastructure team of a global proprietary trading firm, based in Singapore. This isn't a typical SRE-for-web-apps role, the team owns production systems that sit close to the exchange, covering everything from deployment and release process to observability and incident response across a low-latency environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning production deployment, configuration, and release across your assigned area of the stack
• Building and maintaining tooling for deployment, orchestration, monitoring, and diagnostics
• Defining SLIs and SLOs in partnership with product owners, and using them to drive real improvements
• Leading incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems, not just closing tickets
• Working closely with global engineering teams to troubleshoot complex production issues
• Influencing architecture decisions and sharing practices with SRE teams across other regions

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years in an IT ops role such as DevOps, SRE, Linux systems engineering, or network engineering
• Expert level C++
• Strong grasp of Linux internals, including kernel behaviour, scheduling, and performance tuning
• Solid networking fundamentals, including routing, multicast, LLDP, VLANs, and Ethernet
• A degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and a genuine sense of ownership over production systems
• Must be eligible to work in Singapore
