Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview:

We're hiring SSE I - Site Reliability Engineer to help keep our SaaS platforms reliable, secure, and observable at scale. You'll work hands-on across our AWS environment — Windows and Linux, a monolith alongside microservices on EKS and serverless apps — improving observability, automating infrastructure, troubleshooting cloud networking, and strengthening our security and compliance posture (including CIS hardening). It's a role for a hands-on engineer in a fast-paced, secure and compliance-oriented environment who enjoys both building automation and keeping production healthy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS applications across Windows/Linux, EKS microservices, and serverless environments.
• Build observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and New Relic.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Monitor and optimize AWS cloud costs through governance, tagging, and right-sizing initiatives.
• Troubleshoot cloud networking, including VPCs, DNS, routing, load balancers, and connectivity.
• Manage EC2 environments, IIS, and related AWS services across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Enhance security, compliance, and platform resilience through hardening and incident management.
• Develop automation tools in Python, PowerShell, and Shell while managing CI/CD through GitHub or Azure DevOps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS organization, focused on Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining applications onAWS — both Windows and Linux stacks, monolith and microservices (EKS), and serverless apps.
• Experience configuring observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or New Relic.
• Proficiency with an infrastructure-as-code tool — Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong cloud networking troubleshootingon AWS.
• Comfort configuring EC2 instances on both Windows and Linux, plus hands-on IIS experience.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Shell.
• Working familiarity across core AWS services — EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, EKS, RDS, Route 53, and ALB/NLB, among others.
