About the Role:
Fubo is looking for a talented
SeniorSite Reliability Engineer to join the team in Bangalore to support our Ad Technology engineering team to ensure our products reliability, scalability, and availability. You'll work in a fast-paced environment that tremendously impacts daily operations and long-term strategy. You will work closely with other engineers across all layers of the infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building automated systems that deploy, change, monitor, and fix complicated cloud-based infrastructure and applications. We expect our engineers to solve challenging problems collaboratively, create quality products with sophisticated designs, and establish solid lines of communication and trust within the organization. The role involves working closely with development teams to design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud computing, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IAC).
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop software and build systems that can manage the infrastructure and applications of the platform
- Provide engineering and operational support for multiple large-scale distributed software applications
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and planning infrastructure deployment with developers
- Implement alerting and monitoring tools to assist development and incident response
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems and applications to aid in performance tuning and fault diagnosis
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure prompt response to incidents and outages
- Develop sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
- Strike a balance between fast feature development and reliability with clearly defined service-level objectives
- Write clean, well-tested code
- Planning out infrastructure projects and being involved in project management decisions
Skill Required:
- 7+ years of experience as an SRE or in a similar role
- Work alongside the Development team to ensure projects run smoothly
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker or other container technology
- Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience in designing and implementing effective monitoring and alerting solutions
- Experience working with automated release management
- Experience building and supporting backend and infrastructure systems
- Experience building release automation with CI/CD workflow (CircleCI, Github Actions)
