About Hotel Z The Vertical You'll Join

You'll be joining Hotel Z, Zolo's hospitality vertical, under the Operations / Launch Excellence team. This team is responsible for transforming newly signed properties into fully operational, brand-compliant hotels. From civil readiness to final launch audits, this vertical ensures that every property meets Zolo's standards before going live. This is not a desk-based corporate role this is an on-ground transformation role.

Role Overview What This Role Is Really About

A hotel gets signed.

The owner says it's almost ready.

But is it truly launch-ready

This role is about walking into a property and knowing within minutes what's missing, what's delayed, what's below standard, and what needs correction.

It's about ensuring that when the first guest checks in, nothing feels unfinished.

You are the bridge between civil completion and operational launch.

What You Will Practically Do Every Day

So you can clearly picture the role:

• Conduct detailed site assessments (civil, plumbing, electricals, faade, safety)
• Evaluate finishing quality and infrastructure readiness
• Identify gaps between property condition and brand standards
• Prepare structured readiness reports with timelines and action plans
• Track completion of civil, interior, and infrastructure work
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and vendors for timely execution
• Monitor installation of branding, signage, fixtures, and setup materials
• Conduct quality audits before final launch approval
• Flag risks that may delay launch and escalate proactively
• Ensure all checklist items are completed before go-live
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply, Sales, Tech, and Branding teams
• Support on-ground launch execution
• Handle multiple properties across cities simultaneously
• Travel extensively across India (base city: Bangalore)

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
• Graduates from related technical fields may apply.

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 36 years of experience in:
• Hotel project execution
• Property fit-outs
• Civil site supervision
• Construction project coordination
• Multi-property rollout
• Strong understanding of civil work, plumbing, electricals, and finishing quality
• Ability to assess launch readiness independently
• Structured thinking and sequencing of projects
• High attention to detail and quality standards

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in hospitality expansion teams
• Interior material awareness (tiles, laminates, fittings, fixtures)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD / SketchUp
• Exposure to hotel pre-opening or handover projects

Language & Persona Fit

• Execution-focused and decisive
• Detail-oriented with strong quality judgment
• Confident in vendor and owner coordination
• Structured and process-driven
• Comfortable with travel and on-ground responsibility
