1.1 ABOUT THE COMPANY

Utkrusshta Infracon Private Limited is a trusted engineering contracting firm specialising in quality construction and project execution. We undertake medium and large Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional buildings, Bungalow and Farm House projects with Interiors and Landscape, Infrastructure including plot development and roads — on a turnkey basis, in and around Pune and Maharashtra. We also undertake Heavy Fabrication and Erection projects and Retrofitting contracts for the structural strengthening and rejuvenation of existing Industrial, Commercial, and Infrastructural structures.

1.2 ROLE OVERVIEW / SCOPE OF WORK

The Senior Site Engineer is deployed on large and complex projects where the volume and pace of site activity requires a dedicated second-in-command under the Site In-charge. This role owns the day-to-day floor execution of the project — managing Supervisors, Junior Site Engineers, and the Storekeeper directly — so that the Site In-charge can focus on planning, stakeholder coordination, and commercial oversight.

The Senior Site Engineer is expected to operate with a high degree of independence on the execution floor. Instructions and priorities flow from the Site In-charge; accountability for translating them into daily site output rests with this role.

1.3 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Site Execution [ Independent ]

1. Drive all day-to-day construction activities on the floor — ensure work proceeds as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and the programme set by the Site In-charge.
2. Break down the Site In-charge's work programme into daily and weekly task assignments for Supervisors and Jr. Site Engineers; track completion and flag slippages immediately.
3. Conduct regular site inspections across all workfronts; identify deviations from drawings or specifications and take corrective action on the spot.
4. Manage multiple subcontractors working simultaneously — monitor their output, quality of work, and pace against the programme.
5. Ensure all safety norms are strictly followed — PPE, scaffolding, electrical safety, and any site-specific requirements. Report unsafe practices or conditions to the Site In-charge without delay.

B. Team Management [ Independent ]

1. Directly manage Supervisors, Jr. Site Engineers, and the Storekeeper through clear daily briefings, task allocation, and on-the-spot feedback.
2. Monitor labour productivity across workfronts; address absenteeism, skill gaps, or interpersonal issues proactively.
3. Mentor Supervisors and Jr. Site Engineers in correct execution practices, drawing reading, and quality standards.
4. Assess daily manpower requirements and coordinate deployment of labour and subcontractor teams in line with the day's programme.

C. Material & Store Coordination [ Independent ]

1. Plan short-term material requirements in coordination with the Storekeeper; ensure zero work stoppages due to material unavailability.
2. Monitor material consumption and issuance daily; flag wastage, misuse, or variance from planned quantities to the Site In-charge.
3. Ensure materials are stored, handled, and issued correctly on site.

D. Reporting & Documentation [ Independent ]

1. Ensure Daily Progress Reports are submitted accurately and on time; maintain a clear record of work completed, issues encountered, and actions taken.
2. Maintain a running issues and actions log — flag risks to timeline, quality, or safety as they arise and escalate to the Site In-charge anything that cannot be resolved at floor level.
3. Support the Billing Engineer with site measurements and ensure site records are maintained to support accurate billing.
4. Maintain all relevant site documentation — inspection records, subcontractor instructions, material issuance records, and quality logs.

1.4 SKILLS REQUIRED

Technical Skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards across Industrial and Commercial projects.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and labour teams simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel — required.
• AutoCAD — preferred; ability to review and mark up drawings on site.
• Familiarity with ERP or project management software — an advantage.

• Effective team manager — able to get consistent output from Supervisors, labour, and subcontractors.
• Clear and direct communicator — with both site teams below and the Site In-charge above.

1.5 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience 5 to 8 years in site-based construction execution; experience in Industrial or Commercial projects preferred

Software / Tools MS Excel — Required | AutoCAD — Preferred | ERP / Project Software — AdvantageOther Requirements Willingness to be based full-time at project sites across Maharashtra.
