JOB SUMMARY:

The Site Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative solutions for Global Test Center Network. This position demands a deep understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems (Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11), database systems, and proficiency in PowerShell scripting. The Sr. Site Engineer will collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to architect robust solutions, requiring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, the role involves working alongside Project Managers, software packaging teams, test center support teams, and account managers to ensure the seamless operation and support of global test center network.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Evaluate and integrate new workstation and server hardware.
Evaluate and integrate new software or operating systems.
Create and support automation solutions for large-scale deployments.
Collaborate with Product Owners/Developers to assist in architecting solutions.
Work with software packaging teams to streamline the distribution of new software.
Continually improve documentation and create knowledge base (KB) documents.
Communicate issues, solutions, and their impact on the business across the organization.
Design and implement system architecture.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Train and mentor junior engineers.
Create detailed technical documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years experience in the Information Systems field.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing projects or teams.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a high aptitude for complex systems.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating System and Windows productivity/management tools.
Proven ability to work in the Windows desktop environment and deliver enterprise solutions.
Knowledge of automation scripting PowerShell or similar language.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server Roles: Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, etc.
Experience with Virtualization Technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
Understanding of 3 Tier architecture (web servers, app servers, databases).
Knowledge of Database Systems (Microsoft SQL).
Experience working with physical server hardware.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sound decision-making with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Self-motivated with a strong ability to take on new challenges.
Ability to work individually and as a member of a project team.
Ability to work to tight schedules and deadlines.
