Job Description

The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities,

coordinating with contractors, ensuring quality standards, and driving project execution as

per timelines. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and hands-on

experience in large residential/commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per

drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with subcontractors, site supervisors, and workers to ensure smooth

workflow.

Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Implement safety and quality standards on-site at all times.

2. Quality Control & Compliance

Check reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and finishing works as per project

standards.

Ensure materials used meet quality parameters and reject substandard material.

Maintain site inspection records and adherence to safety norms.

3. Planning & Coordination

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and project managers for technical

clarifications.

Prepare and update daily/weekly progress reports.

Plan material requirements and ensure timely availability on site.

Assist in preparing BOQs, material requisitions, and work schedules.

4. Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of RCC structures, finishing works, plumbing, electrical

coordination, and civil engineering processes.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Troubleshoot site issues and provide technical solutions.

5. Team Leadership

Guide junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff.

Ensure discipline, productivity, and safety compliance among the workforce.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction practices.

Experience in high-rise residential/commercial building projects.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to supervise multiple activities and deliver under pressure.
