Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Site Engineer role based in Coimbatore. The Senior Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including supervising construction work, coordinating with civil and structural teams, and ensuring alignment with design specifications and project plans. Responsibilities include managing site execution schedules, monitoring resource utilization, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting regular quality checks, resolving technical issues on-site, and liaising with contractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain project progress. The Senior Site Engineer will also prepare site reports, document project milestones, and communicate updates to project management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision capabilities, with experience managing day-to-day construction activities and site logistics.
- Background in Civil Engineering, with proven experience working as a Civil Engineer on building or interior fit-out projects.
- Solid understanding of Structural Engineering principles and ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality control, including inspection, compliance with standards, and documentation of site checks.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in construction drawings, basic project planning tools, and site documentation practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, site safety practices, and local building codes.
- Ability to lead site teams, solve problems under time constraints, and deliver work within scope, budget, and schedule.
