Role Description

As a Senior Site Engineer - Civil, you will oversee and manage on-site construction activities to ensure timely project completion in accordance with quality standards. Your core responsibilities include supervising construction work, managing teams of workers, maintaining quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. You will collaborate with junior site engineer, architects, and contractors to address and resolve technical challenges. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Core Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion

Quality Control

• Maintain construction quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections
• Ensure material and workmanship quality

Team Management

• Supervise site workers and subcontractors
• Allocate tasks and track productivity
• Ensure discipline and safety compliance

Co-ordination

• Co-ordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors
• Resolve on-site technical issues
• Align execution with project timelines

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations
• Maintain proper documentation
• Follow local building codes and standards

Qualifications and Required Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or Equivalent)

4 6 years of experience in construction industry

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and drawings
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Site execution and project management skills
• Quality control and attention to detail
• Team handling and supervision skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Knowledge of safety standards and site regulations
• Basic understanding of billing, BOQ, and estimation
• Communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and basic reporting tools

4.5 - 6.5 LPA (Fixed)
