We are seeking a Lead Digital Twin Simulation Engineer to design and build next‑generation Digital Twin platforms that integrate real‑time 3D visualization, discrete event simulation, and multi‑system interoperability.
This role requires deep hands-on expertise with NVIDIA Omniverse, USD (Universal Scene Description), simulation frameworks, and data pipelines. Working familiarity with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation for discrete-event modeling is strongly preferred.
You will play a key role in architecting scalable, production‑grade Digital Twin ecosystems for factories, logistics, automation, robotics, and manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities-
Digital Twin & Simulation Platform Engineering
- Architect and build end‑to‑end Digital Twin solutions combining NVIDIA Omniverse real‑time 3D environments with external simulation engines
- Develop scalable USD‑based representations of factories, equipment, robots, AMHS pathways, and spatial layouts
- Design simulation connectors, orchestration logic, and services to enable multi‑engine simulation workflows.
NVIDIA Omniverse Development & USD Pipeline Ownership
- Lead development of Omniverse Extensions, custom tools, and automation using Python and C++ in Omniverse Kit
- Own USD asset pipelines, including ingestion, layer composition, versioning, schema compliance, materials, and geometry updates
- Integrate physics‑based simulations using Isaac Sim, PhysX, or Flow for realistic motion, pathing, and equipment behavior.
Simulation Integration (DES + 3D Visualization)
- Work with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation models to interpret and adapt discrete‑event logic
- Develop workflows to synchronize material flow, cycle time, utilization, and KPIs from DES into Omniverse layers
- Ensure data and state consistency between simulation engines and real‑time 3D environments
Software Engineering, Data & Platform Integration
- Design modular microservices and reusable libraries for:
- Data ingestion
- Scene generation
- Simulation orchestration
- Scenario automation
- Integrate data from MES, historians, sensors, logs, and real‑time streams using APIs and ETL pipelines
- Build CI/CD pipelines for Omniverse extensions, USD assets, and simulation services
- Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineers, and Simulation Specialists
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Translate real‑world manufacturing and logistics processes into simulation‑ready architectures
- Mentor junior engineers on Digital Twin, Omniverse, and simulation best practices
