Cadence Hyderabad is Hiring for Signal Integrity / Power Integrity Engineer. We are looking for a highly motivated Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI) Engineer who is passionate about deep technical problem‑solving and collaborative engineering. The ideal candidate will contribute to technical engagements, customer projects, and engineering initiatives within our SI/PI ecosystem.
About the Role
The role involves performing Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis in both time domain and frequency domain, working with SI/PI methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis in both time domain and frequency domain.
- Work with SI/PI methodologies including IBIS, TDR, impedance control, transmission line theory, and PDN characterization.
- Conduct feasibility studies and define design guidelines for PCB/flex systems.
- Develop and analyze 2D/2.5D/3D simulation models for board‑level signal & power integrity.
- Perform board-level simulations for:
- SI Simulation
- PI Simulation
- PCI/DDREM
- Electromagnetic Extraction (EM/EMI Extraction)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver clear written reports and presentations.
Qualifications
Electronics, Electrical, or related discipline
Required Skills
- Strong fundamentals in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity.
- Good understanding of Electronic design concepts, including:
- Analog circuit design/DDR/High speed Interfaces
- Digital design concepts
- PCB/flex design and manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard SI/PI simulation tools (any major 2D/2.5D/3D EM solvers).
- Experience in developing and analyzing complex SI/PI models.
- Ability to interpret results across frequency and time domain.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to:
- Board-level SI/PI/RF/EMI simulations
- EM extraction tools
- PDN impedance profiling
- Experience creating practical design guidelines for real-world PCB systems.
