JD for Shopify Senior

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Integrate third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and shipping tools.
  • Optimize website speed, SEO, responsiveness, and conversion performance.
  • Manage and customize Shopify Plus stores, checkout extensibility, and automation workflows.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, fix UI/UX issues, and ensure smooth deployment cycles.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, QA, and backend teams.
    • Implement version control using Git.
    • Ensure security, scalability, and best coding practices.
Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Shopify development.
  • Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify CLI, theme kit, and deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of Shopify Plus features.
  • Experience integrating REST / GraphQL APIs.
  • Understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
    • Familiarity with GitHub / Bitbucket.
    • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Client handling with good communication skill
Preferred Skills

Experience with React, Node.js, or headless commerce.

  • Knowledge of Hydrogen / Oxygen.
  • Exposure to CRO tools and analytics.
