We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to design, build, and support modern collaboration and intranet solutions on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will lead technical delivery across SharePoint Online (and/or SharePoint On-Prem), develop scalable customizations, integrate business systems, and ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SharePoint solutions using modern approaches (SharePoint Online/On-Prem as applicable), including site architecture, information structure, security, and performance.
- Build and enhance custom components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks (React preferred).
- Create and maintain integrations using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and connectors to third-party or line-of-business systems.
- Develop workflows/automation using Power Automate (and Power Apps where needed) to streamline business processes.
- Implement document management capabilities (metadata, content types, retention, search, version control) and improve user experience.
- Support migrations and modernization initiatives (classic to modern, on-prem to cloud), including planning, execution, and post-migration stabilization.
- Provide L3 support: troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, standards, and ensure alignment with security/compliance and governance requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, development standards, and release practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of SharePoint development experience with strong SharePoint Online exposure (On-Prem a plus).
- Hands-on expertise in SPFx, TypeScript/JavaScript, and API integrations (Microsoft Graph/REST).
- Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions, tenant governance, and best practices for scalable solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate requirements into technical designs.
