We are hiring a senior engineering lead to drive ServiceNow-based Telecom Network Inventory implementations and integrations.
Senior ServiceNow Developer - Telecom Network Inventory
Location: India (Remote)
Role & Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver ServiceNow scoped applications and CMDB models tailored for telecom network inventorydefine CI classes, attributes, and relationship maps.
- Implement and maintain Discovery, MID Server, and Service Mapping configurations to reliably populate and reconcile network inventory from multiple sources.
- Build and manage integrations using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP, custom scripts, and web services to sync OSS/BSS, NMS, and external inventory systems.
- Design and implement reconciliation, transformation, and normalization pipelines to merge multi-source data into a single source of truth.
- Provide production support: troubleshoot incidents, optimise ServiceNow performance, and author test cases, runbooks, and operational documentation.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, establish development best practices (code reviews, CI/CD for ServiceNow, ATF), and drive continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Proven ServiceNow development experience delivering ITOM/CMDB and Discovery solutions for telecom inventory projects.
- Strong scripting and platform skills: JavaScript, Glide APIs, Service Portal, and scoped application development.
- Hands-on experience with MID Server, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, JSON/XML payloads and API-based syncs.
- Deep understanding of telecom inventory concepts, network resource relationships, and data reconciliation strategies.
- Experience designing transform maps, import sets, and normalization logic for multi-source inventory ingestion.
- Track record of production support, debugging, performance tuning, and delivering operational documentation.
- Preferred
- Familiarity with TM Forum SID and TMF APIs or telecom inventory modelling standards.
- Experience with NETCONF/YANG or SNMP integrations and NMS/EMS systems.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow CI/CD workflows (ATF, Update Sets, Git integrations) and automated testing.
