We are seeking aSenior ServiceNow SecOps Developerto lead the design, implementation, and automation of enterprise security operations on the ServiceNow platform. This role acts as the technical bridge between Cybersecurity teams and the ServiceNow platform, focusing on automating security incident and vulnerability lifecycles, integrating with external security tools, and enabling AI-driven, proactive security operations. The objective is to significantly reduce Mean Time to Contain (MTTC) by replacing manual security processes with scalable, automated playbooks.
Role:Senior ServiceNow SecOps Developer
Experience Required:510+ Years of ServiceNow Experience | 3+ Years SecOps-focused
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement core ServiceNow SecOps modules including Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), and Threat Intelligence (TI)
- Architect and develop automated security playbooks using Flow Designer and Process Automation Designer for threat containment (e.g., IP blocking, account disablement)
- Build and maintain integrations with security platforms such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys, Microsoft Sentinel, using IntegrationHub and Service Graph Connectors
- Implement Now Assist for SecOps (GenAI) to enable AI-driven incident summarization, guided remediation, and security script acceleration
- Configure advanced Vulnerability Calculators, Assignment Rules, and risk-based prioritization
- Align security workflows with MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST standards to ensure comprehensive threat coverage
- Develop secure, high-performance Script Includes, Business Rules, Data Policies, and scoped applications
- Ensure SecOps processes align with CMDB, CSDM (4.0/5.0), and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
- Support UAT, deployments, and continuous improvement of security automation capabilities
Required Skills & Experience:
- 510+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, with at least 4 years in SecOps
- Strong expertise in Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, CVSS scoring, phishing response, and vulnerability management
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (Glide API), REST/SOAP APIs, JSON
- Strong experience with IntegrationHub, Service Graph Connectors, and security tool integrations
- Proficiency in CSDM 4.0/5.0, CMDB governance, and IRE
- Experience managing vulnerabilities in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred Certifications:
- CIS-DF (Certified Implementation Specialist Data Foundations) Mandatory (2026 Standard)
- CIS-SIR (Security Incident Response) Essential
- CIS-VR (Vulnerability Response) Essential
- CAD (Certified Application Developer) Highly Preferred
- CompTIA Security+ or GSEC Good to have
