For an international organization, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior ServiceNow IDE and AI Engineer.
We are looking for a contractor, who is able to work full-time in CET working hours. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, Scripted REST APIs, and Service Catalog solutions;
- Use Visual Studio Code as the primary development environment;
- Manage source code using Git repositories with branching, PRs, and reviews;
- Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools;
- Support ServiceNow IDE, SDK, and Build Agent adoption;
- Configure and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation;
- Define best practices for IDE vs UI development and coding standards;
- Create AI agents and AI skills in ServiceNow platform;
- Create technical documentation, prompt libraries, and developer playbooks;
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and internal enablement programs;
- Provide technical leadership, support platform governance, and ensure solutions are secure, compliant, performant, and audit‑ready;
- Contribute to building standardized processes and reusable solutions;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform;
- Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and Scripted REST APIs;
- Strong JavaScript knowledge for server-side and client-side scripting, including GlideRecord, debugging, optimization, and code refactoring;
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and IDE-based development workflows for ServiceNow engineering;
- Strong working knowledge of Git including branching, pull requests, code reviews, merge conflict resolution, and version control best practices;
- Comfortable with CLI/terminal-based development, deployment troubleshooting, logs review, and CI/CD workflows using Build Agent and repository integration;
- Experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted coding tools for script generation, refactoring, debugging, and responsible vibe coding;
- Experience in creation, deployment and evaluation of ServiceNow AI Agents and AI skills will be a big plus;
- Fluent in English;
