Role Description

This is a Senior ServiceNow Developer role responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions across multiple enterprise modules. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support continual platform improvements across ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM. You will play a key role in developing scalable workflows, integrations, automations, and platform customizations while helping ensure performance, maintainability, and alignment with ServiceNow best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST APIs and other integration methods.
• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow forms, tables, modules, and platform components.
• Develop workflows and Flow Designer solutions to support approvals, automations, and process lifecycle management.
• Design, create, and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting and Service Portal/CMS components.
• Develop and maintain Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, and other custom platform solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, administrators, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support platform enhancements, upgrades, and continual service improvement initiatives across multiple ServiceNow modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, performance concerns, and integration challenges.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience across modules such as ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
• Experience designing and maintaining ServiceNow integrations and automation workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
• Experience working in enterprise ServiceNow environments supporting multiple business functions.
• Familiarity with Service Portal, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and modern ServiceNow development practices.
• Experience supporting platform optimization, governance, and long-term scalability initiatives.
