Job Summary
The ServiceNow Developer will participate in the definition, implementation, and support of Elevate s ServiceNow platform. The developer will work closely with project leads, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, configure, deploy, and maintain business processes. The right candidate will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day ServiceNow tasks and projects, support, maintenance, and improvement of our ServiceNow ecosystem. The candidate should have a demonstrated background in ServiceNow administration and development. The candidate will be an excellent communicator and deem themselves as an all-star functional ServiceNow expert. The candidate will have significant and proven experience in managing assets, discovery of assets and the CMDB.
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Solution Design & Development
- Work collaboratively with staff that have varying expertise and exposure to ServiceNow and ITIL concepts in order to solve complex problems.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in order to adapt to the dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering, product teams and business partners.
- ServiceNow configuration and customization including but not limited to form tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, REST/SOAP integrations, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.
- Import and manage data between ServiceNow instances and other various system sources.
- Produce technical documentation for project and enhancement tasks, orient process users through workshops and demos.
- Lead ServiceNow project initiatives through requirements gathering, development work captured in update sets, and production releases following Change/Release Management processes.
Years Of Experience
5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Educational Qualification & Certifications (Preferred)
Bachelor s in computer science, Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience
Domain Knowledge: If applicable, develop an understanding of the Finance/Loan domain to align technical solutions with business requirements
Skills Required
Mandatory Skills:- Must have skills (Technical + Softskills)
- Must have 3+ years experience as a ServiceNow Developer for Core modules.
- Must have 2+ years experience as an admin/developer/architect for ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery in a cloud environment.
- Must have 2+ years Java scripting.
- Must have excellent communication skills including teaching/mentoring other ServiceNow team on CMDB/Discovery
- Must have excellent collaboration skills but also be able to work independently.
Nice To Have- ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management/Governance Risk Compliance/Vendor Risk module experience
- Automation/integration experience using ServiceNow
- ServiceNow service mapping
- Microsoft Devops experience
- ITIL certified
- ServiceNow Developer certified
