Role Overview
Our client is looking for a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their growing team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow-based solutions, with a strong focus on Customer Service Management (CSM) and/or App Engine (Custom Applications).
The ideal candidate should bring strong hands-on expertise across the ServiceNow platform, along with experience working in client-facing environments and Agile delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
1. ServiceNow Development
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, particularly:
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- App Engine / Custom Application Development
- Develop and maintain:
- Business Rules
- UI Policies
- Client Scripts
- Script Includes
- UI Actions
2. Solution Design & Implementation
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Build reusable and efficient ServiceNow components
- Ensure adherence to platform development and configuration best practices
3. Integration & API Development
- Develop and manage integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems
- Work with:
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- Web Services
- Middleware integrations
4. Testing & Deployment
- Perform unit testing and support UAT and production deployments
- Ensure code quality, platform performance, and security compliance
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with:
- Business Analysts
- Solution Architects
- Client Stakeholders
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in ServiceNow development
- Strong hands-on expertise in at least one of the following:
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- App Engine / Custom Application Development
- Strong proficiency in:
- JavaScript
- ServiceNow scripting and platform customization
- Experience working with:
- REST/SOAP integrations
- Workflow automation
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications such as:
- CSA
- CAD
- CSM / App Engine certifications
- Experience working in consulting or IT services organizations
- Exposure to ITSM / ITOM modules
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
