Job Description

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their growing team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow-based solutions, with a strong focus on Customer Service Management (CSM) and/or App Engine (Custom Applications).

The ideal candidate should bring strong hands-on expertise across the ServiceNow platform, along with experience working in client-facing environments and Agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

1. ServiceNow Development

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, particularly:
  • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • App Engine / Custom Application Development
  • Develop and maintain:
  • Business Rules
  • UI Policies
  • Client Scripts
  • Script Includes
  • UI Actions

2. Solution Design & Implementation

  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Build reusable and efficient ServiceNow components
  • Ensure adherence to platform development and configuration best practices

3. Integration & API Development

  • Develop and manage integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems
  • Work with:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP APIs
  • Web Services
  • Middleware integrations

4. Testing & Deployment

  • Perform unit testing and support UAT and production deployments
  • Ensure code quality, platform performance, and security compliance

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with:
  • Business Analysts
  • Solution Architects
  • Client Stakeholders
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of experience in ServiceNow development
  • Strong hands-on expertise in at least one of the following:
  • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • App Engine / Custom Application Development
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • JavaScript
  • ServiceNow scripting and platform customization
  • Experience working with:
  • REST/SOAP integrations
  • Workflow automation

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow certifications such as:
  • CSA
  • CAD
  • CSM / App Engine certifications
  • Experience working in consulting or IT services organizations
  • Exposure to ITSM / ITOM modules
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
