Senior ServiceNow Developer - IWS / GSC Manufacturing - Full-Remote - Contractor in USD

For an international organization, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior ServiceNow Developer - IWS / GSC Manufacturing.

We are looking for a contractor, who is able to work full-time in CET working hours. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications aligned with business requirements and platform standards;

Design and build modern user experiences using UI Builder (Workspaces, Agent Experience);

Develop and configure:

• Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts;
• Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST/SOAP integrations;

Build scalable, reusable components supporting IWS expansion across factories/functions;

Ensure solutions follow a configuration-first, upgrade-safe approach;

Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, DevOps standards, and coding guidelines;

Ensure high-quality documentation for all deliverables;

Act as backup lead for the team (delivery, design governance, escalations);

Collaborate closely with stakeholders (BTS & Product Owners) for alignment;

Promote best practices, structured delivery, and continuous improvement;

Contribute to building standardized processes and reusable solutions;

Support testing activities including UAT and defect resolution;

Actively support incident resolution and defect fixes.

Profile:

Bachelor or Master degree;

+5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience;

Strong experience in:

• UI Builder / Workspace development;
• Custom app development (Scoped Apps);
• JavaScript (server-side & client-side, Glide APIs);
• Integration (REST/SOAP APIs);

Good experience in working in Agile delivery models (Scrum/SAFe);

Good understanding of ITIL processes;

Familiarity with ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, and strong understanding of Service Catalog and Request Management;

Basic knowledge of Servicenow Configuration and scripting;

Exposure to KPI-driven environments (e.g., MTTR, SLA adherence) is a strong plus;

Experience in IWS-related solutions or manufacturing/digital tools integration;

Exposure to:

• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub CoPilot and vibe coding in Enterprise settings;
• Proficiency in Visual Studio Code, CLI/terminal-based development, CI/CD workflows;
• Previous experience in mentoring or leading a delivery team is nice to have;

Fluent in English;
