Job Description

We're looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement solutions across modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, and SecOps. In this role, you'll work on platform development, integrations, and automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

If you have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with architects and business analysts, this role is for you.

Key Skills

  • 6–9 years of total IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on experience on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong experience across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, or SecOps.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Orchestration.
  • Experience developing custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and ServiceNow data model.
  • Experience with integrations using APIs, IntegrationHub, or middleware tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v3/v4 processes and best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with dashboards and reporting in ServiceNow.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
  • Implement and configure modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, or SecOps based on project requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with architects and business analysts.
  • Develop and enhance Service Portal components and UI pages.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, development, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using IntegrationHub, APIs, or middleware tools.
  • Implement automation using Flow Designer, Orchestration, and related capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration, performance, and data synchronization issues.
  • Follow ServiceNow coding standards, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Ensure platform performance, stability, and scalability through efficient development practices.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and maintenance while ensuring compatibility.
  • Collaborate with product owners, process owners, architects, and administrators to deliver aligned solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Monitor platform performance and resolve incidents and issues.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track usage, performance, and service metrics.
