Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow BCM Developer with deep expertise in designing and implementing Business Continuity Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role requires strong technical capability, domain understanding of resilience frameworks, and experience delivering scalable, compliant BCM solutions across enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement BCM solutions on ServiceNow covering BIA, continuity plans, crisis management, and testing.
- Configure and customize platform components (workflows, business rules, UI policies, Flow Designer).
- Integrate BCM with CMDB, ITSM modules, and external systems via APIs/IntegrationHub.
- Align BCM data models with CMDB for accurate service dependency mapping.
- Enable automation for plan lifecycle, testing, notifications, and crisis response.
- Ensure compliance with BCM frameworks like ISO 22301 and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Technical Skills required:
- 4-7+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- Hands-on experience with:
- ServiceNow BCM / GRC modules
- JavaScript (server-side & client-side)
- Flow Designer, IntegrationHub
- Strong understanding of:
- CMDB & Service Mapping
- REST/SOAP integrations
Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of:
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Crisis Management
- Experience with regulatory environments (Banking, Insurance, Healthcare preferred)
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
Experience
4+ years of relevant industry experience
4+ years ServiceNow BCM experience
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or CAD
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in BCM (CIS)
