Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Service Now solutions focusing on ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Service Catalog
• Perform hands-on development using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and other platform capabilities
• Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions
• Develop and manage integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Business analysts, and architects to implement functional requirements
• Ensure adherence to Service Now development standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the platform
• Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Service Now development
• Strong understanding of Service Now architecture, JavaScript, and Glide APIs
• In-depth knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL framework
• Proven experience with core ITSM modules and CMDB
• Experience in developing custom and scoped applications
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and API development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Service Now CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification
• CIS-ITSM certification is highly preferred
• Exposure to additional modules such as ITOM, CSM, or HRSD is a plus
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
