Senior Server Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & System Operations

• Ensure business continuity of IT systems including:
• On-premise and cloud servers
• Disk arrays, tape libraries, and SAN networks
• Operating systems, virtualization platforms, and backup systems
• Secure, update, and patch systems in compliance with internal policies and security standards
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic administrative control tasks

Backup, Recovery & Security

• Prepare, supervise, and verify system backups
• Ensure secure storage of backup media in coordination with the security department
• Restore systems quickly during failures and minimize service downtime
• Take immediate corrective actions during system incidents

Virtualization & Cloud Technologies

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise Office 365 (O365) environments
• Manage and troubleshoot hypervisors with strong expertise in:
• VMware virtualization and clustering
• Work across multi-cloud environments, including Azure and GCP

Support & Incident Management

• Provide Third-Level technical support for server-based applications
• Diagnose and resolve complex system and application issues
• Perform root cause analysis and support problem management processes

Vendor & Asset Management

• Coordinate with hardware and software vendors under service contracts and warranties
• Review and recommend actions related to:
• Repairs and upgrades
• System modernization
• Hardware/software scrapping and procurement

Projects, Governance & Documentation

• Participate in or lead IT infrastructure development projects
• Develop, monitor, and enforce policies for server and system resource usage
• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation and procedures
