Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically adept and proactive Senior Security Engineer with deep expertise in Azure cloud and network security. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for automation and a strong grasp of modern security frameworks and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on Azure.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats and anomalies.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are embedded across development and operations.
  • Stay current with the latest security trends, threat intelligence, and technologies.
  • Drive the implementation of automation solutions to strengthen security posture, including automated threat detection, response workflows, and compliance checks.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Automation runbooks for routine security operations and incident response.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and enforce the principle of least privilege across cloud resources.
  • Secure hybrid environments using Azure Hybrid Runbook Workers and Microsoft Entra ID-based authentication.
  • Ensure secure configuration of automation accounts, network isolation, and identity management in line with Microsoft's cloud security benchmarks
  • Lead initiatives to migrate legacy security configurations (e.g., Run As accounts) to modern, identity-based models.
  • Participate in security incident response and root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 9-10 years of relevant experience in security engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and security features.
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Automation).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-500, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a must.
  • Experience as part of CISO team is essential.
