Senior Security Engineer

Experience: 8+ years

Primary Skill:

o Minimum 4+ years of hands-on SailPoint IIQ development experience

o Minimum 2+ years of SSO experience (Ping preferred)

Location - Bangalore (WFO)

Key responsibilities include:

Key Requirement Highlight: The ideal candidate is a hands-on SailPoint IIQ developer with strong Java/API skills, solid IAM lifecycle management experience, and basic-to-intermediate SSO knowledge.

The role is heavily development-focused with minimal operational support responsibilities.

Security Tools Role Overview

• Minimum 8+ years of overall IT experience

• Split Across:

o Minimum 4+ years of hands-on SailPoint IIQ development experience

o Minimum 2+ years of SSO experience (Ping preferred)

Core Technical Requirements

• 70% SailPoint Development & 30% SSO Integration Activities

• Strong development background with: Java, PowerShell, API Integrations

• Experience across the complete SDLC: Requirements gathering, Development, UAT support, Security reviews, Production deployment, Post-production support.

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of: SailPoint Workflows, Lifecycle Management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver), Access Governance, API-based integrations, SailPoint OOTB connectors

• Knowledge of authentication protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC)

Project Context

• Design, develop and implement SailPoint solutions

• Build and enhance JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) workflows

• Develop automation using APIs and SailPoint connectors

• Prepare deployment artifacts and runbooks

• Collaborate with operations teams during deployments

• Support critical P1/P2 incidents when required
