Senior Security Engineer

Work Location: Mumbai - candidate would be required from Client location.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Security Engineer in Mumbai with 3+ years of experience. The Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security of customer WAF solution. The day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing security solutions and coordinating with other teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Configure Cloudflare dashboard as per the customer's requirements

2. Support go-live migration to Cloudflare

3. Daily monitoring of the dashboard

4. Send daily WAF reports

5. Work with Cloudflare support on issue tickets

6. Good knowledge of domain hosting and its security

7. Basic understanding of application security and OWASP

8. Able to customize and write the rule as per requirement

9. Able to customize the report and dashboard as per requirement

10. Familiar with Cloudflare other modules, services &implementation but their

primary skills would be Cloudflare WAF.

11. Able to generate all default and customized report as per service and business

requirement

12. Good co-ordination and escalation skills to get the desired

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Application Security, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Security Engineering
• Expertise in designing and implementing WAF solutions for cloud-based environments
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
