A Brief Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Business Continuity Senior Security Analyst to join our Information Security Team. In this role, the Senior Analyst supports the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of TriNet's enterprise Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs. The role helps ensure the readiness and resilience of TriNet departments and office locations by coordinating planning activities, performing impact and risk analyses, and facilitating training and exercises. Acting as a subject matter resource to internal stakeholders, the Senior Analyst supports program governance and risk mitigation efforts that strengthen TriNet's ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.

What You Will Do

  • Support program governance and risk mitigation efforts that strengthen TriNet's ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.
  • Conduct, communicate, and maintain all phases of the business continuity lifecycle, including Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, recovery strategy development, plan documentation, and program testing.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify critical processes, dependencies, systems, and Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).
  • Evaluate and recommend viable, costeffective continuity strategies to ensure organizational resilience.
  • Draft, update, and maintain BC plans, procedures, and related documentation in alignment with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain KPIs and KRIs to measure program effectiveness, track risks, and inform leadership of resilience maturity.
  • Coordinate and facilitate BC exercises, including tabletop exercises, functional tests, simulation drills, and leadershiplevel trainings.
  • Document exercise outcomes, identify gaps, and support corrective action planning to enhance the organization's preparedness.
  • Develop and deliver business continuity awareness programs and training sessions tailored to employees, leaders, and executives.
  • Promote a culture of preparedness and ensure understanding of continuity roles and responsibilities.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory assessments, and compliance reviews related to continuity and resilience.
  • Coordinate BC requirements and availability expectations with thirdparty vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure vendor continuity capabilities align with organizational standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to business units on continuity planning, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance with program requirements.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to drive consistency, maturity, and continuous improvement of resilience practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in business continuity programs, BCP process engagement, or related BC/DR activities.

Skills And Abilities


  • Working knowledge of the Business Continuity Program Lifecycle (DRII model).
  • Proficiency with business continuity planning software and related systems.
  • Experience exercising, maintaining, documenting, or auditing BC plans.
  • Strong project management, facilitation, and leadership skills to coordinate cross functional initiatives.
  • Experience with Business Impact Analysis, risk assessment, and recovery strategy development.
  • Understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management standards (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in security-related software applications and tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Availability and flexibility to respond to security incidents and emergencies outside of regular working hours, if required.
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent industry certification
