Gemini Shale Solutions builds SaaS solutions that automate and digitize the oil and gas industry. As our Quality & Automation Lead, you will be responsible for validating all work before it goes to production — including our mobile app, web portal, and connected IoT devices. This is a hands-on role that blends manual and automated testing: you will design and execute manual and exploratory test cases, build and maintain automated test suites, and create and run SQL queries to manipulate data and verify outcomes. You will also be expected to leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate and strengthen how we test.

• Create and organize platform test suites
• Design, write, and execute manual and exploratory test cases in a fast-paced development environment
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or an equivalent functional testing tool
• Create and execute automated test scenarios based on business requirements
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across web, mobile, and IoT
• Leverage AI-powered tools to generate, optimize, and analyze tests and accelerate QA workflows
• Run SQL queries to manipulate and verify data
• Monitor all operations that affect quality
• Document system bugs clearly and reproducibly
• Create test plan process and as-built implementation documentation as needed
• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX developers, and stakeholders to build the future of the Gemini platform

You have very strong QA skills across both manual and automated testing, you are detail-oriented, and you care deeply about the quality of the product. You are an expert at creating functional and regression test cases from business requirements and automating them, and you are comfortable using AI tooling to work smarter and faster. Above all, you are a strong problem solver who can work independently and quickly ramp up on a complex product.

• Understand user story requirements to help design, implement, and execute test plans
• Strong experience testing a complex software product, spanning both manual testing and test automation
• Hands-on experience developing and scripting automated test suites with Selenium and Java (or equivalent tooling)
• Experience using AI-powered tools in a QA context — for example AI-assisted test generation, analysis, or workflow acceleration
• String executing functional, integration, and regression tests
• Strong SQL skills
• REST API testing experience
• Ability to analyze documentation and technical specifications of existing applications
• Ability to work independently and prioritize based on business needs
