Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of QA strategy and execution while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and guide them on automation best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.
• Ensure automation test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams to maintain quality across the product lifecycle.
• Set up and optimize automated testing pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
• Continuously improve QA processes for scalability and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and QA best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership and accountability for ensuring product quality.

Good to Have

• Experience testing SaaS products or large-scale enterprise systems.
• Exposure to API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
