Role DescriptionThe Senior SDET role combines software development and testingexpertiseto deliver high-quality software through automation. The role focuses on designing, developing, andmaintainingautomated test frameworks and scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure efficient and reliable testing processes.
The role willhave a focus across multiple projects globallyand willinteract withproject teams in different zones.This isan opportunity to work with different solutions and different teams.
The Senior Will Be Additionally Responsible For
- Supporting other members of the team in automation
- Acting as a technical leader for automation
- Influencing best practises and automation standards
- Able to cover leadership when required
- Helps shaping automation roadmaps and standards
Specific Role Responsibilities- Design and implement robust,scalableautomated test frameworks.
- Develop andmaintainautomated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback.
- Refactor andoptimizeautomation scripts for reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers, Testers, and product teams toidentifyautomation opportunities.
- Ensure high test coverage and contribute to defect prevention and early detection.
- Participate in code reviews andmaintaincoding standards for test automation.
- Providetechnical guidance and mentoring to junior team members on automation best practices.
Experience Required
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#,JavaScriptor Python.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Virtuoso, Playwright).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- UI Based automation testing experience
- Experience in naturallanguagescripting / codeless automation solutions
- Experience with APIautomatedtesting
- Understanding ofsoftware testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Solid experience with data driven testingwitha good understanding of data requirements for automated testing
- Strong route cause analysis skills to resolve test automation maintenance
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellenttechnicalproblem-solving and analytical skills.
