Senior (SDE3) DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud services.
• Define and enforce disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

CI/CD & Deployment

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Implement containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Automate and optimize software deployment workflows.

Monitoring, Security & Performance Optimization

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack).
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
• Implement IAM, encryption, secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
• Troubleshoot and optimize networking, performance, and latency issues.

Database & Backup Management

• Automate database backup, recovery, and replication processes.
• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RDS, Cosmos DB).

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategies with business goals.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure Automation.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud services.
• Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates.
• Experience in Linux and Windows administration.

CI/CD & Automation

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or equivalent.
• Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Advanced proficiency in Git version control and workflows.

Monitoring, Security & Performance

• Expertise in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs, Proxies).

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead DevOps initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Background in software development (Python, React).
• Strong familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
