Job Description

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will:

  • Agile Facilitation: Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles within the team.
  • Team Enablement: Support the development team in delivering complex applications, proactively removing impediments and fostering a high-performing environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work effectively with demanding US-based clients/Product Owners in geographically distributed teams.
  • Methodology Implementation: Apply expertise in Scrum principles, with a preference for experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology.
  • Tool Management: Maintain and manage project artifacts and workflows efficiently using Jira and Confluence.
  • Communication: Ensure transparent communication within the team and with stakeholders, especially in complex, fast-paced environments.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Domain & Agile Expertise:

  • Banking Domain: Knowledge of the Banking domain in current or prior projects, specifically with complex applications. Regulatory reporting background is preferred.
  • Alternatively, if no banking domain knowledge: Strong working experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Client Engagement: Experience working with demanding US-based clients/Product Owners in geographically distributed teams.
  • Scaled Agile: Preferably worked in SAFe (Scaled Agile) Methodology.
  • Agile Tools: Expert in Jira and Confluence for maintenance and tracking.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a complex project environment.

Essential Professional Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively in geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to handle demanding client/PO interactions.
