Senior Scrum Master

Job Summary:

• Client is seeking a Scrum Master / Technical Coordinator to support a global technology organization by serving as the primary liaison between platform engineering teams and key stakeholder groups including Digital Transformation, Cloud Operations, Security, Identity & Access Management, and business leadership.
• This role blends Agile delivery leadership, project coordination, operational oversight, and stakeholder management to ensure projects, incidents, and product releases are executed efficiently and on schedule.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong Agile experience, technical acumen, and exceptional communication skills, enabling them to remove roadblocks, manage escalations, and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary Scrum Master and Technical Coordinator for multiple technology initiatives
• Manage incidents, tickets, and escalations across Jira, ServiceNow, and other project management platforms
• Coordinate activities between engineering teams and cross-functional groups including cloud, security, IAM, and digital transformation teams
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach team members on Agile best practices and methodologies
• Monitor project timelines, identify risks, and proactively remove blockers impacting delivery
• Manage onboarding activities for new team members and project resources
• Ensure compliance documentation and release-related paperwork are completed accurately and on time
• Prepare executive-level status reports, project updates, and stakeholder communications
• Partner with development teams to estimate project effort, resource requirements, and delivery timelines
• Support project planning, governance, and software development lifecycle processes

Experience:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related field
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
• Experience coordinating software development projects and technical teams
• Experience managing project timelines, escalations, risks, and stakeholder communications
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams

Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of CI/CD, APIs, software deployments, releases, version control, code reviews, testing, and QA processes
• Knowledge of development team structures including Front-End, Back-End, QA, DevOps, and Design functions
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools at an advanced level
• Ability to prepare and present executive-level reporting and project documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PSPO, CBAP, or CCBA certifications
• Master's degree in a technical or related field
• Experience supporting enterprise technology or software development organizations
• Experience working with global teams and distributed development environments
• Experience within regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech, or life sciences
• Strong understanding of software development and technology operations
• Experience managing vendor resources and coordinating cross-functional delivery teams
