Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to guide and enable multiple Agile teams working on enterprise software initiatives. The role focuses on delivery excellence, strong Agile practices, continuous improvement, and collaboration across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have practical SDLC experience from a QA, Business Analyst, or Development background and be comfortable supporting modern engineering teams using AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach multiple Scrum teams for predictable, high-quality end-to-end delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and reinforce Scrum principles, delivery discipline, and team standards.
• Work with Product Owners on backlog refinement, sprint readiness, prioritization, and business alignment.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks, and release planning with transparent stakeholder communication.
• Drive continuous improvement through delivery metrics, retrospectives, and Agile best practices.
• Mentor team members and junior Scrum Masters and build self-organizing, high-performing teams.
• Ensure quality standards, accurate Agile tracking, and delivery against the Definition of Done.
• Support PI Planning, capacity planning, governance, and process optimization.
• Use hands-on SDLC knowledge to strengthen scoping, acceptance criteria, dependency management, UAT, and delivery readiness.
• Use automation and AI tools to streamline sprint reporting, dependency tracking, documentation, and retrospective insights.
• Ensure alignment with governance, data privacy, security, and compliance standards and escalate risks appropriately.
  
  

Required Technical Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience supporting software development teams.
• Experience leading multiple Agile teams in complex or scaled environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Strong backlog management, sprint planning, release coordination, dependency, risk, and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with Agile transformation, continuous improvement, and delivery governance.
• Prior hands-on SDLC experience as QA, Business Analyst, or Developer.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, servant leadership, and change management skills.
• Practical and working experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Understanding of product lifecycles, SDLC, project management fundamentals, and quality standards.
• Ability to use delivery metrics to guide decisions and improvements.
• Familiarity with DevOps workflows and modern engineering practices.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, healthcare, HR technology, or benefits administration.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
• Experience using AI-powered tools for meeting summaries, reporting, documentation, and team insights.
• Understanding of metrics for AI-augmented teams such as flow efficiency, review throughput, and rework rate.
• Experience with scaled Agile delivery and PI Planning.
  
  

AI Experience

Candidates should be comfortable supporting teams that use AI-assisted development. Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools is preferred. Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including data privacy, security, and human-in-the-loop accountability, is also expected.

Managerial Experience

This is primarily an Agile leadership and coaching role rather than a traditional people-management position. The Scrum Master will lead and mentor multiple teams, coach team members and junior Scrum Masters, and influence delivery practices across teams.

Operational Experience

Experience managing Agile delivery operations including sprint planning, backlog refinement, release coordination, dependency and risk management, governance, capacity planning, UAT support, metrics, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

UG: B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization or any graduate degree. Equivalent professional experience may be considered where appropriate.

Certifications

CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.

Experience

3–8 years overall experience, with 4+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience preferred.
