In this role, we are looking for candidate who will be working as scrum master along with Product Owner and IT delivery team and should be able to drive the project from planning to closure using agile scrum framework. Candidate should also be able to understand business requirement, write/review user stories for customer journeys in agile framework, map out exact functional requirements and manage delivery in close collaboration with IT partners using an agile product backlog framework.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for managing agreed scrum framework for multiple teams.
Responsible to facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, retrospective meetings and sprints for multiple teams.
Responsible to remove the impediments and inter dependencies for the scrum team.
Facilitate meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation of the process.
Helps product owner to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.
Needs to forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration.
Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions. Should have knowledge of Spotify Model.
Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
Monitoring progress and performance through Key Performance indicators and helping teams to make improvements.
Ability to visualize and motivate team for high performance and high quality deliverables.
Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials
Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders. Preferred if Visual boards are used for presenting the key metrics.
Lead organization wise agile and scrum sessions in the process of agile transformation in the organization.
Play an integrator role in the journey delivery squad (i.e. cross functional team specific to a journey)
Translate business workflow/UI/UX into detailed product backlog, review of user stories
Review detail functional specifications for each step in the journey e.g. validations of fields, user scenarios.
Responsible for functional and solution documentation, review test scenarios, support business and function teams for UAT, end user manuals and conduct trainings for project delivery.
Own UAT testing of build through testing team

Candidate Profile
Clear understanding of Agile and Scrum principles
Strong techno functional understanding of financial products. E.g. Ratings, Loans, Equity, Equity Research, Mutual Fund or Market risk and Credit risk experience.
Certified Scrum Master from Scum Alliance or Scrum.org.
Must have worked in either IT service sector or Investment banking domain preferred.
Work experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as scrum master in IT services based or product based company.
Minimum 6-9 years of work experience as a business analyst or IT services or investment banking organization.
Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle, Product backlog and experience of working in an Agile development environment
Proven business analysis skills and strong understanding of system architecture with experience in BFSI risk regulatory domain solution is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis, drive key metrics in project delivery.
Essential Qualifications
Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business is preferable
Certified Scrum Master from Scum Alliance or Scrum.org.
