Today with our expertiseand comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSysdesign and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such asElectro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meetthe mission objectives of our customers.

Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact

As a highly experienced Senior SatelliteMechanical Engineer, you will lead the design, development, andqualification of mechanical systems for spacecraft missions. This role focuseson structural integrity, mechanical design, electronics packaging, and systemreliability in the harsh space environment.

Be Part of Our Success

Mechanical Design & Development

  • Lead the design of satellite mechanical systemsincluding primary/secondary structures, mechanisms, and electronicsenclosures/modules (e.g., avionics boxes, PCB assemblies)
  • Perform detailed design using CAD tools (e.g., NX,CATIA, SolidWorks)
  • Ensure compliance with launch loads, mechanicalconstraints, and space environment requirements
  • Optimize designs for mass, stiffness, manufacturability, and integration efficiency

Structural Analysis

  • Conduct structural analysis (static, dynamic, vibration, shock) using FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN)
  • Perform structural verification of both spacecraftstructures and electronics modules (PCB support, fasteners, enclosures)
  • Validate designs against mission requirements andsafety margins

Integration & Testing

  • Support satellite assembly, integration, and test(AIT) activities
  • Support mechanical integration of electronicsunits, harness routing, and structural interfaces
  • Define and support environmental testing(vibration, acoustic, shock)
  • Support in the investigation of any anomaliesduring integration and testing phases

Materials & Processes

  • Select appropriate materials and surface treatmentsfor space applications
  • Define materials and finishes suitable forelectronics enclosures and mounting structures
  • Ensure compliance with space standards (e.g.,outgassing, radiation tolerance, fatigue life)
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams onproducibility and qualification

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Lead design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams includingelectrical/avionics teams to ensure proper mechanical-electrical integration
  • Drive best practices in electronics packaging, structural robustness, and interface control

Documentation & Compliance

  • Generate and maintain design documentation, analysis reports, and test procedures
  • Develop related interface control documents (ICDs)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g.,ECSS, NASA, MIL-STD)
  • Support mission reviews and customer deliverables

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, AerospaceEngineering, or related field
  • Preferably 8 to 15 years of relevant experience insatellite or space system engineering is a plus
