We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP UI5/Fiori Developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore/Hyderabad. In this role, you will independently own the end-to-end application lifecycle and act as a technical mentor for junior resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent Delivery: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex SAP UI5 and Fiori applications within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Frontend Architecture: Build responsive web applications using MVC architecture, XML Views, Fragments, Custom Controls, and Reusable Components.
- Backend Integration: Develop and optimize backend functionality using Core ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and RFC/BAPI.
- Data Provisioning: Create and expose secure, high-performance OData services via SAP Gateway (SEGW).
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions with clients, manage stakeholders, and actively mentor junior developers on advanced technical topics.
- Full-Stack Troubleshooting: Debug complex issues seamlessly across both the UI5 frontend and ABAP backend layers.
Skills & Competencies Required
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- SAP UI5 / Fiori: Expert-level hands-on experience with SAP UI5, Fiori Elements, Fiori Launchpad configuration, and SAP Build Work Zone.
- Development Tools: Proficiency in Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Web IDE, and Git version control.
- Web Technologies: Strong foundation in JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
- ABAP & Gateway: Mandatory expertise in OData service development (SEGW), CDS Views, AMDP, and Function Modules.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
- Knowledge of RAP (RESTful Application Programming) or CAP (Cloud Application Programming) frameworks.
- Experience with SAP Workflow and SAP Build Process Automation.
- Prior experience migrating legacy SAP GUI applications to modern Fiori standards.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously in onsite-offshore delivery models.
