Job Role - SAP UI5/Fiori consultant

Location: Bengaluru, India

Education Qualification: BE/BTech

Communication skills: Should be good in English (verbal and written)

Job Description (Responsibilities)

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SAPUI5, and SAP Fiori Design Principles.

• Hands-on experience in developing and enhancing SAP Fiori applications in SAP

On-Premise environments, including deployment and support through the SAP

Fiori Launchpad.

• Experience with SAP Gateway, OData Services, and SAP Fiori architecture.

• Strong understanding of REST-based web services and integration concepts.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and SAP Web

IDE for application development and deployment.

• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying responsive web applications

using SAPUI5/Fiori framework.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high quality

code.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and software design

principles.

• Experience in customization, enhancement, and extension of standard SAP Fiori

applications based on business requirements.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori Elements, Freestyle SAPUI5, and reusable component development.

• Experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration, catalogs, groups, roles, and

target mappings.

• Working knowledge of SAP On-Premise Fiori setup, including SAP Gateway and

front-end/server integration concepts.

• Exposure to SAP BTP services and integration with cloud-based applications is

desirable.

• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills across UI, OData, and backend integration

layers.

• Ability to evaluate new technologies and perform knowledge transfer within the

team.

Skills

Experience in OData Service development, enhancement, and implementation.

Basic knowledge of ABAP, CDS Views, and AMDP concepts.

Exposure to RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements,

Forms, Workflows).

Experience integrating Fiori applications with SAP CPI/Integration Suite.

Knowledge of Python will be an added advantage.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
