We're Hiring | Senior SAP Technical Architect – SAP Fiori & SAP BTP
Experience: 10–12+ Years
Are you an experienced SAP Fiori & SAP BTP Technical Architect looking to build modern, enterprise-grade SAP applications Join our team to design and deliver innovative SAP user experiences using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, SAP BTP, and S/4HANA while driving digital transformation across global business functions.
This role offers the opportunity to architect scalable SAP front-end solutions, develop cloud-native applications, and collaborate with global teams on cutting-edge SAP technologies.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Solution Architecture
- Assess current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend technology-driven solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and scalable SAP solution designs.
- Design enterprise SAP UX solutions using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Prepare architecture documents, technical designs, presentations, and implementation roadmaps.
- Work closely with functional, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive innovation while ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.
SAP Fiori & UI5 Development
- Design, develop, extend, and support SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5.
- Extend standard SAP Fiori applications and develop side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA.
- Build and consume OData Services, CDS Views, REST APIs, and reusable UI components.
- Configure SAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, and tiles.
- Develop responsive, user-centric applications following SAP Fiori Design Guidelines and adaptive UI principles.
- Support implementations across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SRM, MM, Procurement, SD, EWM, and FI/CO.
SAP BTP Development
- Develop, deploy, and manage applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
- Configure SAP Build Work Zone, Launchpad Service, Workflow Management, HANA Cloud, and Document Services.
- Design and implement side-by-side extensions following SAP's Clean Core strategy.
- Build cloud-native applications using CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model).
- Work with Node.js or Java to develop SAP BTP applications.
- Configure Cloud Connector, Destination Services, Transport Management Service (TMS), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using XSUAA and SAP Cloud Identity Services.
- Collaborate using Git, GitHub workflows, code reviews, and automated deployment pipelines.
Required Skills
SAP Fiori & UI5
- SAP Fiori Application Development Certification.
- Extensive experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC, and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Strong expertise in SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Web IDE, VS Code, and Eclipse.
- Hands-on experience with Embedded Gateway, Gateway Hub, and Fiori on Cloud.
- Strong experience developing, extending, and consuming OData Services.
- Expertise in SAP Launchpad configuration and application deployment.
SAP BTP
- Strong experience with SAP Cloud Foundry and SAP BTP services.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Build Work Zone, Workflow Management, HANA Cloud, and Cloud Transport Management.
- Experience with CAPM, CDS Views, REST APIs, and side-by-side extensions.
- Knowledge of RAP, SAP Build Code, and Generative AI capabilities is an advantage.
- Good understanding of SAP Cloud Connector, IAM, XSUAA, Destination Services, and secure cloud connectivity.
Functional Knowledge
- Exposure to SAP MM, SD, eWM, SRM, Procurement, and FI/CO.
- Understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA architecture.
- Experience with interface development, data integration, and SAP transport management (CTS+, ChaRM).
- Familiarity with Git-based version control, SonarQube, ESLint, and Agile development practices.
Good to Have
- SAP Gateway configuration and SAP Fiori security roles.
- Custom UI5 controls, advanced navigation, and reusable components.
- RAP programming model, CDS annotations, and SAP Build Code.
- Core Java and ABAP development knowledge (RFCs, BAPIs, Programs).
- Production Planning or Supply Chain domain knowledge.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10–12 years of SAP ABAP development experience with 6+ years of hands-on SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Strong experience in SAP BTP application development and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience in enterprise integration and SAP solution architecture.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Language & Soft Skills
- Fluent English communication (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- German language skills are an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
