Job Description
The Senior SAP Security Analyst is responsible for building and supporting SAP Security design, redesign, strategy and global customer support.
Key Responsibilities May Include
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Supply Chain (OT/IoT) Cyber Security incident responses, including PLCs, smart devices, HMIs, vision systems, and servers, ensuring effective triage, containment, and resolution.
- Collaborate with OT teams to define and implement processes for BAU patching and lab testing to minimize operational disruptions while improving security capabilities.
- Lead the identification, remediation, and reduction of security vulnerabilities by conducting threat and risk analyses and providing actionable recommendations.
- Actively participate in the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) to manage identification, containment, eradication, and resolution of cyber security issues.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses for new OT systems and technologies, ensuring alignment with security standards and best practices.
- Monitor and review logs and reports from security tools, servers, workstations, and network devices to detect and address potential security events.
- Perform advanced threat hunting and incident handling, utilizing OSINT, Threat Intelligence, and enrichment resources to identify, analyze, and mitigate malicious behaviors.
- Develop and enhance monitoring content, workflows, and documentation, including creating high-fidelity behavioral patterns and automating processes for improved threat detection and response.

Major/Key Accountabilities
- Accountable and Responsible for the design, test, build and run of SAP Security across all modules
- Ownership of SAP Security Roles – Analyze, Build, configure
- Operations – break/fix, production support, continuous enhancement activity.
- Management and operational support of SAP Segregation of Duties (SOD) module
- Assurance to Security Policies and Standards
- Assist with SAP Internal and External Audit compliance inquiries
- Design, build, test and implement SAP Security functions based on a solid understanding of all phases of the systems life cycle.
- Analyse, develop and configure security roles as per business requirements and determine appropriate security solutions to meet the requirements.
- Resolve end-user production support security issues in a timely and accurate manner. Work within change management guidelines ensuring all transports move into production maintaining system integrity.
- Use Segregation of Duties tools to enforce roles and responsibilities, role change control and SOD compliance.
- Ensures compliance to security policies, procedures and IT controls in place.
- Assists with SAP upgrade process, with specific focus on security impact.
- Daily administration, support and trouble-shooting of SAP security across the SAP NetWeaver and periphery landscapes.
- Relies on business knowledge and technology to propose value added yet audit compliant solutions for the business challenges at Brambles.
- The person in this role delivers systems and services that meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA) while identifying and implementing improvements.
- Deals with external and internal auditors.
- Provides input into license compliance and communicates with vendors.
- Willing to provide on-call support as needed.

Experience/ Skills And Knowledge
- 8+ years experience with SAP Security application expertise (i.e. ERP, BW, BTP,Hana, Fiori) including Cloud.
- 8+ years experience with GRC Security Module including Segregation of Duties (SOD) expertise
- Detailed understanding of SAP security concepts (i.e. roles, profiles, profile generator, user administration).
- Knowledge in global risk and compliance tools and processes to manage and avoid critical combinations of access.
- Understanding of SAP Java and ABAP stack administration.
- Understanding of SAP transport and correction system.
- Understanding of Single sign-on technologies and Identity Management.
- Knowledgeable of emerging technology trends and solutions.
