- Senior SD Functional Consultant
- Mandarin language skill a big plus.
- 1 SD (Sales & Distribution) S4 HANA Functional requiring 10+ years of experience working with large scale or S4 HANA implementation projects.
- Proven track record in at least three large-scale or global SAP implementation projects, including three or more S/4HANA implementations.

Role
- We are looking for an SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA coupled with experience in multiple end-to-end S/4 HANA implementations and other large-scale projects.
- The ideal candidate will bring deep functional knowledge, strong business process understanding, and hands-on configuration experience to support our enterprise initiatives.
- Ideally experienced in APAC markets.
- The selected candidate with be added to an ongoing implementation of S/4 HANA for China and Hong Kong.
- They will also work on S/4 HANA implementation projects for the remaining APAC markets in parallel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD modules within an S/4HANA environment.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configure SAP SD solutions accordingly.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of SD processes, including Order management, Special Order Processes, Pricing, Billing, e-Invoicing, Distribution, EDI functional, Business Partner, Intercompany (optional) etc.
- Huge Plus: Utilize advanced S/4HANA SD capabilities such as Fiori apps/embedded analytics/aATP/BRF+/Condition Contract Management, etc.
- Support integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, TM) and external systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current processes, capture future-state requirements, and propose scalable SAP SD solutions.
- Drive workshops, design reviews, and functional walkthroughs with cross-functional teams.
- Support build, cutover activities, testing phases (SIT, UAT), production deployment, and hypercare.
- Resolve SD-related issues and optimize solutions wherever applicable.
- Advise on best practices, system standardization, and simplification opportunities enabled by S/4HANA.
- Create high-quality documentation including functional specs, process flows, and training materials.
- Work India OR China Hours.
Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP SD experience.
- 5+ years of experience on S/4 HANA.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SD processes, including Order management, Pricing, Billing, e-Invoicing, Special Order Processes, Distribution, EDI functional, and Business Partner.
- Proven track record in at least three large-scale or global SAP implementation projects, including three or more S/4HANA implementations.
- Good understanding of SD-FI/MM integration.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.
- Expert-level experience in SD configuration.
- Experience with Fiori, IDocs, and other interface technologies.
- Ability to write functional specifications and collaborate effectively with ABAP development teams.
- Solid understanding of integration across SAP modules and third-party applications.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing (English). Mandarin language skill is a big plus.
- Location: Eastern Hemisphere is preferred but open to the West if no resource is found.
