Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language
• Design and implement Core Data Services CDS views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures AMDP
• Utilize the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model RAP for building Fiori apps and extending standard SAP functionalities
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design development testing deployment and support
• Perform code reviews debugging and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of developed solutions
• Keep abreast of the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes and methodologies
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Proficiency in Core Data Services CDS and experience with ABAP Managed Database Procedures AMDP
• Handson experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model RAP
• Strong understanding of SAP S4HANA architecture and data models
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform BTP and Cloud Platform Integration CPI is a plus
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• SAP certification in ABAP development is preferred
