Senior SAP Project Manager [SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Maintenance]

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, from initiation and planning to execution and stabilization. Define and oversee project scope, timelines, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate application maintenance and enhancement workstreams for ongoing SAP S/4HANA operations while ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards. Act as the primary liaison between business leaders, IT stakeholders, and external partners, facilitating workshops and regular project status meetings. Manage collaboration among internal teams, SAP functional consultants, technical developers, and vendors to drive productivity and team morale. Oversee change management and training initiatives to ensure organizational readiness for new deployments. Collaborate with functional leads to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and support the review of functional designs and testing strategies. Proactively identify project risks and issues, recommending mitigation plans and managing change requests to align with business goals.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in a related field. At least 12-15 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 8 years in managing SAP projects. Proven track record of leading at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations. Strong experience managing SAP AMS/support operations in an S/4HANA environment. Solid understanding of SAP modules and cross-functional dependencies (e.g., FICO, MM, PM, SD, PP, etc.). Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and project management frameworks. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred. Experience with Agile/Hybrid project frameworks is an advantage. Understanding of integration challenges, data migration complexities, and infrastructure dependencies within SAP programs.
