Job Title: Senior SAP IBP Demand Planning Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP IBP Demand Planning Consultant to join our team and support enterprise-wide supply chain planning transformations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Planning, demand forecasting processes, statistical forecasting models, and stakeholder management across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP IBP Demand Planning implementations, enhancements, and global rollouts.

• Conduct business workshops and gather requirements related to demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP processes.

• Design and configure SAP IBP Demand Planning solutions including Planning Areas, Planning Levels, Key Figures, Forecast Models, and Planning Operators.

• Configure and optimize:

• Statistical Forecasting
• Forecast Automation
• Product Lifecycle Planning (Launch/Phase-out)
• Promotion Planning and Causal Forecasting
• • Collaborate with technical teams on CPI-DS, SAP Data Intelligence, and ERP integration activities.
• • Support data mapping, validation, testing, and deployment activities.
• • Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and change management initiatives.
• • Develop project documentation including BRDs, Functional Specifications, Test Scripts, and Configuration Documents.
• • Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Demand Planning and Supply Chain Planning.

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SAP IBP Demand Planning configuration experience.

• Strong expertise in:

• SAP IBP Demand Planning
• Planning Areas and Planning Levels
• Key Figure Modeling
• Statistical Forecasting
• Time Series Forecasting
• Forecast Models and Algorithms
• SAP IBP Excel Add-In and Fiori Applications
• • Experience with CPI-DS integration and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments.
• • Strong understanding of:
• Baseline Forecasting
• Consensus Demand Planning
• Collaborative Demand Planning
• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Forecast Accuracy Metrics (MAPE, Bias, Forecast Accuracy)

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP IBP Certification (Demand Planning or End-to-End IBP).

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules.

• Exposure to IBP Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Response & Supply modules.

• Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Pharmaceutical industries.
