Position Summary:


The FICO Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules in SAP ECC. This role requires in-depth knowledge of financial processes, technical SAP FICO expertise, and the ability to provide strategic solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of implementing and supporting SAP FICO in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:


- SAP FICO Module Management: Oversee and manage the FI and CO modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.

- Configuration and Customization: Design, configure, and customize SAP FICO solutions to meet specific business requirements.

- Business Process Analysis & Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement within financial and controlling functions and implement efficient solutions.

- Project Management: Lead or participate in SAP FICO-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

- Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, assisting in audits as required. Integration with 3rd party systems and regulatory systems.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to align SAP FICO functionality with business needs.

Required Qualifications:


- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA (Finance) or CA is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP FICO, with a strong focus on implementation, configuration, and support. Experience with at least 2-3 full-cycle SAP implementations.

- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the any domain industry is preferred.

 

Technical Skills:


- Proficiency in SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.

- Strong knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).

- Familiarity with global financial regulations and multi-currency environments.

- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
