Role Summary
AMS SAP S/4HANA Finance Resource responsible for day‑to‑day incident management, business support, and functional enhancements in an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environment. The role involves close interaction with finance business users and support of core finance and group reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 AMS support for SAP S/4HANA Finance day‑to‑day incidents and service requests.
- Support finance processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, and Group Reporting.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, reconciliations, and financial validations.
- Interact directly with business users to understand issues, provide solutions, and communicate status effectively.
- Work on functional enhancement requests, including impact analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment support.
- Support and troubleshoot IDocs and interfaces between SAP and external systems.
- Perform or assist with mass data maintenance and corrections using LSMW or data migration tools.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
Required Skills
- Hands‑on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) in an AMS / production support environment.
- Strong functional knowledge of:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Fixed Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Group Reporting
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Exposure to IDocs, interfaces, and system integrations.
- Experience or working knowledge of LSMW or data migration tools for mass data maintenance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact confidently with business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA data model.
- Exposure to Group Reporting implementations or complex consolidation scenarios.
- Basic ABAP debugging or read‑only analysis skills.
- Experience supporting finance integrations with MM, Kyriba, Blackline, Concur, banks, or middleware.
- SAP FI or S/4HANA Finance certification.
- Prior experience working in a global AMS delivery model.
